Trafford’s women’s squad sent 3 crews to compete at the British Masters Championships this year in Nottingham, taking on strong national opposition and producing a good set of performances across multiple age categories.

Kim and Ania completed in the W 36+ 2x delivered a great result in race 336, taking victory by over 20 seconds after a confident and well executed race from start to finish. The crew set an early and maintained lead throughout, showing their training together through regatta season had paid off 🥇

In race 358, the W 50+ 4x- of Jane, Helen, Sam and Rae showed great determination, putting up a strong fight in a competitive field and finishing 4th after a strong row through the entire race.

Alison and Mary in the W 50+ 2x also produced a solid performance in race 394, placing 4th. They both raced very well, showing their commitment and determination against tough national opposition.

Overall, it was a very positive experience at the British Masters championships for Trafford’s women’s masters, with crews racing well and building momentum for Trafford at a national level.
