The Boathouse Project

Trafford Rowing Club have had a boat storage facility within Walton Park for over 50 years.  It is now operating beyond capacity, limiting the club’s development.  The Boathouse Project seeks to expand into the existing roof space to enable other club activities safely away from the commotion of loading and unloading of boats:

• Off-water training for up to eight rowers

• Safe storage of rowing machines and personal kit

• Social space for club meetings and post-rowing gatherings​

Now that planning permission has been granted for a mezzanine, balcony, full-access lift and stairs has been granted fundraising activities are in full flow to move from planning permission to reality.
